1.1 Recruitment, Retaining and Training of Police Force

1.1.1. Police Authorities


1.1.1.1 All police authorities to be managed by a single National Crime Authority who are
made up of MP’s, Councillors, Ex-Police Commissioners, Serving Police Officers, Magistrates and Judges.(Debate and Vote)


1.1.1.2. Budgets to be centrally funded by Government and distributed to Regional Police Authorities through the National Crime Agency.(Debate and Vote)


1.1.1.3. Resources to be unified and shared with officers offered secondment to areas on a rotational basis with all housing and costs covered over the duration of their secondment to bring new ideas and experiences to the whole of the country. (Debate and Vote)

1.1.1.5. Explore the case for transferring responsibility for more serious national crime to the National Crime Agency, enabling local police forces to focus on local crime and anti-social behaviour


1.1.2. Police Training and Implementation 



1.1.2.1. Restrict Police 'Stop and Search' powers with Officers to report each stoppage and the reason for their actions, which will be part of their annual review.


1.1.2.2. Focus on Crime prevention to be priorities at the local level with local police stations to be based at Schools, Hospitals, Railway Stations and community centres.


1.1.2.3. Provide real funding for survivors of crime including 'Woman's refuges' for domestic and criminal abuse victims.

1.1.2.4. Protect neighbourhood policing by recruiting 10,000 frontline police officers over the next three years.
